A message from Her Excellency, the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines and the Secretary of the Department of Education, Sara Z. Duterte.
I offer my warmest greetings to the organizers, artists, participants, supporters, and art enthusiasts at Mindanao art exhibit.
The 5th installment of the Mindanao art exhibit promises to be a profound exploration of the very essence of art delving into the challenges that hinder artists on their path to artistic success.
May this year’s Mindanao Art Exhibit serve as a platform for introspection, dialogue and transformation. May the works of art invite the audience to ponder the role of art in life and the significance of authentic creativity in eliciting and surmounting personal obstacles and illuminating brighter paths within our narrow spaces and our wider communities, especially in challenge times.
I applaud the unwavering dedication and vision of Lawig-Diwa Inc., in collaboration with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and the National Committee on art Galleries, for bringing forth this remarkable event.
I hope this event will leave an indelible mark and inspire all our artists to relentlessly push the boundaries of art to never tire in their quest for substance with equanimity and purpose, and to promote their craft as a way to question, educate, and evolve as individual artists and as a community.
Maging MATATAG tayo tungo sa isang Bansang Makabata at Batang Makabansa.
Lahat-para sa Diyos, sa bayan, at sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino.
